Birthday Card

Hello my crafty friends!  If you are looking for my Cardz TV Go-To Galz Challenge  Click Here.  My dad's birthday was last week and here's the card I made for him.  My dad has a bunch of coffee mugs with mustaches.  So I decided to make a card with mustaches.  The balloons are from the Life's A Party cartridge and were cut at 3 3/4 inches.  For the sentiments I used the Cardz TV Stamps set "Good Times."  This is a must have for birthday cards.  For the Celebrate I used the Stampin' UP! Word Window punch and the Modern Label punch.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I would really love to hear from you!  Have a great day!

Cardz TV Go-To Galz Challenge #32 "Back To School"

Hi everyone!  We're back from our Summer vacation with some new, fun challenges, and a new name!  We've divided our large Cardz TV Design Team into two smaller teams and we're now Cardz TV Challenge Go-To Galz and Cardz TV Linky Party Go-To Galz.  We'll be rotating every other week.  So each week on Cardz TV, you'll have a chance to enter our challenge, or link up to our Linky Party!  We're really excited about this new format, and hope you'll play along!  As always, we'll use random.org to pick a winner for each challenge or linky party, for Cardz TV Stamps and lots of other fun prizes!

This is what our Cardz TV Challenge Go-To Galz have come up with for this week.  Challenge #32 "Back to School."  Create a card, layout or other craft project for back to school.  You have until noon EST, Thurs, August 8th to post your name and a link to your creation on Mary's Blog.  Many of you have asked, and no you don't have to use Cardz TV stamps to enter.

Here is my project.  Mine is this little crayon holder.  My little Princess wants to give this to her teacher on the first day of school.  The sentiment is from the Cardz TV Stamps "School Days."  This a fun little set for cards or layouts.  The apple came from the Doodle Charms cartridge and was cut at 3 inches.  I used an EK Success corner punch for the corners.  The patterned paper is from a Doodlebug 6 x 6 stack.

So now it's your turn!  Remember, just create a card, layout, or other craft project for "Back to School."  I hope you have a great weekend and try to stay cool!  Thanks for stopping by, and I would really love to hear from you!

Hello my crafty friends!  I just wanted to share a gift card holder I made for a friend of mine.  She recently got married for the first time.  Lots of great food and they also hired a band.  It was wonderful.   I used the Cardz TV Stamps "Greater Love" set for the Bible verse, the "Happy Days" for the Happy Wedding Day!, and the "Simply Said" for the Best Wishes.  The paper is from my stash.

Hope you are having a wonderful weekend!  Thanks so much for stopping by, and I would really love to hear from you!

Chocolate Chips

Hello my crafty friends!  I just wanted to share this little cookie holder.  A friend of mine had made these to give to her daughter's soccer team earlier this year.  So I decided to make one.  The sentiment is from the Cardz TV Stamps set "Foodie Punnies."  The patterned paper is from my ever growing stash.  I used a
1 3/4 inch punch, then I used a scallop punch to make it look like someone took a bite.

The cardstock measures 5 1/2 x 8 1/4.  With the 8 1/4 side at the top of your scoreboard, score at 3 1/2,
4 3/4.  Turn so the 5 1/2 side is at the top and score at 1 1/4, and turn 90 degrees and score at 1 1/4 again.  Fold score lines, and cut the center flaps up to the score line.  Add sticky strip to the small flaps and outer flaps.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  I would really love to hear from you!  Have a crafty day!

Snail Mail

Hello my crafty friends!  Sorry I haven't posted for a while.  My old faithful laptop died.  Still trying to figure this new one out.  Anyway,  I made this card a while back and never got to post it.  The sentiments are from Cardz TV Stamps.  The Sending happy thoughts to cheer you! and the Have a great day!and My wonderful friend are from the "Heartfelt Wishes" set.  The Just a Note is from the "Simply Said" set.  The Snail Mail and Special Delivery are from the "Snail Mail" set.  The punched flowers were punched using a well used flower punch I've had for years, and the leaves were punched using a Stampin' Up! punch.

Thanks for stopping by, and I would really love to hear from you.  Have a great weekend and try to stay cool!

Treats

Hello my crafty friends!   I hope you had a wonderful Fourth of July!  I know here at the castle we had a wonderful time.  Lots of good food and fireworks.  For our BBQ I made these little treat holders.  In elementary we used to play with these little cootie catchers.  Remember these?  These are just turned upside down.  I used a 6 x 6 paper pad that I bought last year from my local craft store Bennion Crafts.  Love that store.  I used the Cardz TV Stamps set "Happy Days" and "Good Times."  Inside are Jelly Bellys and
M &M's.  I used ribbon from my stash.

Thanks for stopping by and I would really love to hear from you.  Have a great day!

Celebrate July 4th

Happy 4th of July my crafty friends!  I hope you have a safe and wonderful holiday!  I just love Independence Day!  I love red, white, and blue.  I'm proud to have served in the United States Navy, and am thankful for all of the active duty military currently serving to ensure our freedom, and all of the Veterans who served as well.  I hope you celebrate with family and friends today.  Here at the castle we are going to have a BBQ.  Lots of good food!

Now onto my card.  I'm not exactly what to call this card.  I guess a pop-up card.  A good friend of mine shared with me quite a while ago.  So I finally got around to it.  The blue paper and the bottom piece are from Doodlebug.  The striped paper was from my stash.  I used the Cardz TV Stamps set "Good Times" for the "Celebrate."  On the inside I used the "Happy Days" set.  I used my favorite EK Success corner punch.  The star was punched using a punch I've had for a very long time.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I would really love to hear from you!  Please be safe and have fun!  I will be sharing some treat holders I made for the BBQ.

Lots of Hugs,
Laura
