Birthday Card

This is a card I had originally made for my Aunt's birthday which is next Tuesday.  I ended giving it to my Mom because I gave her a gift card. So I had to make another little tag to put inside but forgot to take a photo.  I am trying to find the video for this but I don't remember what it's called.  If I can find it, I will give credit to the person.  So sorry.

My Mom loved it.  For the sentiments I used the Cardz TV stamp set "Make A Wish,"  The cupcake stamp came from a stamp set that I've had for a long time.  The calendar stamp is also from my stamping stash.  The candle is a sticker.  The cupcake paper came from Michaels.  The little stickers came from EK Success.  I used little paper bags to put my tags in.  Thanks so much for stopping by!  I hope to hear from you.

Cardz TV Design Team Spring Blog Hop Day 2

Welcome to day 2 of the Cardz TV Design Team Spring Blog Hop Day!  I hope you've had fun hopping.  I have two projects to share with you today.  The first one is this Easter basket.  For the sentiment, I used the Cardz TV Stamp set "Easter Punnies."  I used an EK Success punch to punch it out.  I used a piece of 9 x 9 Bazzill cardstock.  The eggs were cut with an oval punch.  The papers for the eggs and panels I used papers from a Recollections pack.  For the flowers I used two flower punches.  I added some bling and Rick-Rack.  For the grass I used a Fiskars Grass Border Punch.

Now for my second project, an Explosion Box.

For this project I used the Cardz TV stamp set "Think Spring." The fence came from the Bloom cartridge.  I cut it out at 2 inches for the fence as well as the shadow.  The little flowers came from Michaels.  I ran the blue mat through the Cuttlebug.  I used a butterfly punch for the butterflies and only ran glue down the center and pulled their wings up to look like they are flying.  I used my favorite EK Success corner punch for the center mat.

I hope you have been having fun on this hop!  Don't forget what I said yesterday about joining the hop.  Mary is giving away 2 sets of Cardz TV stamps (WINNER'S CHOICE)!  Just leave a comment on Mary's  Cardz TV  blog by Midnight tonight.   And I am giving away blog candy too!  All you have to do to be entered is be a follower, and leave me a comment.  Easy peasy right?  Thanks for stopping by!

Cardz TV Design Team Spring Blog Hop

Welcome to the Cardz TV Design Team Spring Blog Hop!  If you arrived here from Susan's blog you are headed in the right direction.  The theme for the hop is Spring.  We were supposed to create a card or craft project for Spring or Easter.  So I decided to create a step card.  The sentiment came from the Cardz TV stamp set "Think Spring."

I used the Hello Kitty Greetings Cartridge and cut her out at 3 1/2 inches for all of her layers.  I'm not sure if you noticed or not, but HK has the only pink flower out of all of them, hence the sentiment.  The little worm came from the Create A Critter cartridge and was cut at 1 3/4 inches.  The butterflies are brads.  The flowers are from a punch.  I used a Fiskars grass border punch for the grass.  The ladybugs are brads I found at Michaels.  I used an EK Success punch for the sentiment.

Bunny Treat Holders

I LOVE THEIR TUSHIES!  SO FLUFFY!!!!
Good afternoon my craft loving friends!  I just had to share these little bunnies I've been working on today.  These are little favor jars I bought at Michaels.  I think the box of twenty is around $20.00 and of course I used a coupon. I've had these since around Thanksgiving but I never got around to using them.  So I wanted to make these cute little bunnies with them.  The face was cut using the oldie but goodie Doodlecharms.  I cut them out at 2 1/4 inches with the shadow feature on.  The nose was cut out 2 3/4 inches on the shadow feature as well.  I used a Peachy Keen stamp set for the faces, and a white gel pen to color the eyes.  On some of them I chalked their cheeks.  I used a white marker for the ears.  I used glue dots on the backs of the heads.  I used a glue gun to adhere the pom poms.  I tried it with the glue dots first but they didn't hold well.  The ribbon came from Michaels.  The pom poms came in a big bag from Michaels.  My daughter wants me to make a green one and an orange one.  Hope you are all having a wonderful day.  Thanks for stopping by, and I would really love to hear from you!

"Let's Get Sketchy" Cardz TV Design Team Challenge #7-Day Two

Welcome to day two of the Cardz TV Design Team Challenge #7 "Let's Get Sketchy!"  For this card I used the Cardz TV Stamp set Think Spring.  The base of this card is 5 x 7.  The patterned paper mats are from a Colorbok paper pad.  For the ivory cardstock on the left, I ran the piece through the Cuttlebug using the Textile folder.  The flowers with pearls and the three little pearls are from Recollections.  The sheer ribbon is from Michaels as well.  The pink colors are really make me wish spring was here already.  As I am making this post, the wind is really whipping around outside and it's supposed to snow today.   Uggggh.  For the last couple of days the temperatures have been 60-65 degrees and it's supposed to be only in the 40's today.

I hope you take our Challenge and create a card for any occasion using the above sketch.  You can use any colors you like, and substitute the flowers and ribbon with any embellishment you like.  You can also turn the sketch to go any direction.  Mary over at Cardz TV is giving away a set of her awesome stamps.  All you have to do is post your name and a link to your card in Mr. Linky by midnight EST Sunday March 18th.  She will be using random.org to pick a winner.  Easy peasy!  I hope you join the challenge!  Thanks for stopping by, and I invite you to visit my Design Team Sister's inspiring projects.  I hope to hear from you!  Have an awesome weekend!

"Let's Get Sketchy" Cardz TV Design Team Challenge

Welcome to the "Let's Get Sketchy" Cardz TV Design Team Challenge!  Mary over at Cardz TV gave us ladies on the Design Team a Challenge.  She picked a sketch and we were supposed to create a card from this sketch.  So here is my take on the sketch.

A local news broadcaster is was diagnosed with breast cancer last year.  She is a wonderful, strong person and she is doing really well in her treatment.  So I decided to make a card to show I care.

For the sentiment I used the Cardz TV stamps set Encouraging Thoughts.  This set has great sentiments.  The card base is 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.  The polka dot paper came from a Recollections paper pack from Michaels, and was cut at 4 x 5 1/4.  I used an EK Success ribbon punch for the three ribbons.  For the mat on the left, the pink mat was cut at 1 3/4 x 2 3/4, the ivory mat was cut at 1 1/2 x 2 1/2  and I used the Textile Cuttlebug folder.   I used Rose Bud Memento ink over the top of it.   For the sentiment mat I used an EK Success punch, and for the pink mat I cut a piece 1 1/4 x 2 1/2.

Now it's your turn!  Just create a card for any occasion using the above sketch.  Use any colors you like, and substitute the flowers and ribbon with any embellishment you'd like.  You also can turn the sketch to go any direction.  Then head over to Mary's blog and post your name and a link to your card in Mr. Linky by midnight EST, Sunday March 18.  She will be using random.org to pick a winner.  The winner will win an awesome stamp set!  She will announce the winner on Monday, so go ahead and take this challenge!  Please check out my Design Team Sister's blog's for more wonderful inspiration.  Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by my blog, and please leave me a comment.  I would love to hear from you!

Treat Holders

Hello ladies!  I wanted to share these cute treat holders I've been working on.  I saw this Stampin' Up! tutorial by Angie and this is my take on it.  These are really easy and fun to make.  I used 3 different Cardz TV Stamps sets.  The "Thank You Cherry Much" came from the Garden Greetings set, the "Hey Chickie!" came from the Farmyard Funnies set, and the "Let's Do Lunch" came from the Good Friends set.  The cherries were cut from the Lyrical Letters cartridge.  The chick is from the Easter 2010 cartridge.  I used EK Success punches for the label and the corners of the inside card.  Needless to say, I will be making more!

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I would really love to hear from you!

Caught a Bug?

Happy Monday to everyone!   I know for me the weekend went way too fast!  I recently made this card using the Hello Kitty Greetings cartridge.  I used the Cardz TV stamp set "Going Buggy."

For Hello Kitty, I cut the whole thing out at 3 1/4 inches.  I originally cut out the card feature for this but decided to put it on a 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 card.  I wanted it to look like she was in her bedroom.  The window came from the Christmas Solutions cartridge and was cut out at 2 3/4 inches for the blue window frame and the blackout feature.  The butterfly was cut using a punch that I've had for a long time.  The blue patterned paper came from a Recollections paper pack and was cut at 5 1/4 x 5 1/4.  I used Stampin' Up punches for the sentiment.  I cut a small rectangle out of purple cardstock and wrote on it using a Micron marker.  There is an actual piece of tissue in there for her in case she needs it.  LOL  Thanks so much for stopping by today, I would really love to hear from you.  By the way, my awesome friend Jillian helped me create a blog button this weekend!  Thanks so much Jillian!  Would love it if you grab it!
